Before the Snow Flies.
And our Vermont Yak Ts and Caps Make Great Holiday Gifts.
Peak foliage here in the Green Mountains is just days away, and the trees’ stunning display of fall colors reminds us that time grows short for stocking up our larders and freezers for the long winter ahead.
This is the perfect time for adding yak to your winter menu. Whether you go with our signature Vermont maple sausage for a pre-skiing breakfast; ground yak for lunch burgers, meat balls, or delicious yak chili; or center cut shanks, ribs or a wide variety of steaks (sirloins, tenderloins, porterhouses, rib eyes, or T-Bones) for dinner – be sure to stop by the Saturday farmer’s market or make an appointment at Steadfast Farm to stop by any week-day between 4:30 and 5:00 (our yak phone at # 279.8302) to stock up for the winter months.
Don’t get stuck without your “yak pack” this winter – we hope to see you at the farmer’s market or the farm.
